What technology or business process does Teresa see affecting the tax
and accounting profession in the next five years?

“The tax and accounting profession has experienced a progressive transition
toward integrated workflow processes over the last few years ——
a trend that will continue over the next five years and beyond. The focus on
workflow has had a major impact on how accountants conduct business and the
technology used to support daily procedures. More and more firms are taking
advantage of innovative technologies and Internet-based services to support
an integrated workflow, as well as reap the benefits of paperless processes,
which ultimately lead to significant increases in productivity and profitability.
I see this trend continuing over the next several years.”
